School BMI Calculator app for iPhone and iPad

The School BMI Calculator was designed to ease the burden of data entry for school personnel conducting health screenings; specifically height and weight screenings. The School BMI Calculator allows school nurses to select a class of students, enter a student’s weight and height and the app will then calculate BMI and BMI percentile. The app will visually identify the student in the underweight (orange), normal weight (green), overweight (yellow) or obese (red) weight status based on a colored box.
Calculation of body mass index (BMI) and BMI percentiles are based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention growth charts according to age and gender.
